Wikispaces...

I really don't know about wikispaces. perhaps they are awesome. They just have been first introduced to me and i haven't took the time to really see what wikispaces are all about or even learn it. I have no doubt that it's a great tool. However, i don't think it would be for me. I can see it being great tool for schools, businesses and organizations.

V-Smile. Good Investment?

Technology has come some distance. From Atari's Pac-Man with a little circle eating dots to sophicticated games in 3-D on the PC or modern game consoles that can interact with other gamers online in cooperation. I have purchase a V-Smile game for my daughter. She is 3 years old. V-smile is a game console which is a learning tool for children using most of the first generation game console 2-D techonolgy. It teaches shapes, colors, alaphabet and the recognition of these objects, with the joy of playing a game. V-Smile also offers a variety of learning games as the child ages and/or as the child progresses.

Microsoft monopoly?

It seems as though that we are somewhat forced to use Microsoft products. They are lots of various software developers for nealry any thing you need done, as far as computer software related. It is hard not to learn how to use Microsoft products because majority of schools and busnesses do use these products. When you shop for a computer, majority of the computers for sale have Microsoft software already installed such as the operating system, as well as software like Microsoft Works and Microsoft Office. Microsoft almost seems a popular household name, especially for those with a PC. If a consumer does use MAC and Apple, they consumer still knows about Microsoft. However, a Microsoft user does not always know about the MAC. Does this mean that Microsoft has a monopoly, more or less, in this market?

Looking for digital cameras

Jeepers...digital cameras are hard to shop for. It seems that every month or so a newer and better version comes out. Same brand or not. I always want to purchase one but better one comes out every other month. I question whether even I should buy one or not. Nonetheless, I do need one. With the rapid changes in technology, it's hard to say what is better. Just like a computer, purchase only what you going to need it for. For example, if you are just going to download music, browse the internet, chat on MSN?, and tired of the download process. Get only something that will only do that with perhaps getting a little bit more. I have been shopping for a digital camera for about 3 years. FINALLY, I found something I have been looking for. I was looking for anything that has more than a 3X optical zoom, at least a 3 inch screen, flat with no lens that comes out when you turn it on, and a camera that is less than $500. I had purchased a Sony camera that is flat, with a 5X optical zoom and a 3.5 inch screen. So far it is doing me well.

Screensavers on cell phones?

Perhaps business giants can advertise their products or services via cell phone by using a screensaver. Each page can market a different company or product. Yet set it up where the consumers, of the cell phones, still have a sense of control of what can be seen on their cell phones. For this reason, the screensaver will not act as a pop-up and the consumer will not get annoyed.
